Camping Trip #4 - St. Andrews State Park

We took a few months off from camping to spend time with family during the summer.  In September of 2015 we went back to St. Andrews State Park.  This trip was perfectly timed.  God is so good all of the time and He knew that we (especially me) needed this getaway.  This trip was the first time we went camping with the Walsingham family and we had a wonderful weekend!!!  Also, my brother Pat and his family were camping this weekend at the state park.  It was a lot of fun spending time together with family and friends around the campfire and the playground.

*Notes about this trip:
 - As a teacher, this was a perfect weekend for a get away and a recharge.  School had been in session for about a month, I had worked really hard all month including the weekends to get my class running smoothly, the weather was absolutely perfect.  Try to get away this time again next year.
- Camping is a fun way to celebrate a birthday!  Isn't that right, Chad Walsingham?
- This was a good site ... write down the numbers of good sites.

Scotty and Race setting up.  The most awesome part about this campsite was there was a path that led straight out to the water.  The kids LOVED this.

Alex walking down to the water.

I told you... there's the water.  :)

Having good friends, Connor and Catherine, to hang out with while you're camping makes the Camping Life even better.  The Blounts love us some Walsinghams.  :)

Add cousin Jackson into the mix, put everybody in the bed of a pick up truck and now you have a party.

This was pretty awesome!!!
This is what you might run into at St. Andrews State Park and just one of the reasons we love camping there.

Even if you don't get up close and personal with any wild animals, there is always this.... amazing walks along the beach.  Another reason we love camping here.

And now it's a camping trip....  the first aid kit had to be used.  :)
This is what happens when you choose to NOT heed the warnings of your parents and friends to NOT walk on the slippery rocks that appear to be safe. The slippery rocks are NOT safe.  ;)
Carrie Walsingham, I put this pic on here just to make you smile.

Where I loved to sit... Does it get any better than this???

Again, a good time was had by all.  Alex was actually too tired to smile.
